UK based electronics company, Summit Technologies have been busy developing a brand new product. 

Called the ‘Raptor', this 8 Channel Wireless Steering Wheel Button Control System is incredibly slim, impossibly light and extremely durable. The system utilises high performing RF transmission technology provide a completely wireless solution for accessing critical functions in your Race or Track Car without the need for a restrictive coiled cable. 

The Raptor’s panel fits comfortably within a conventional 300mm Steering Wheel and all of the transmitter components are located in the centre hub, allowing for users with smaller Flat Bottom Steering wheels. By removing the centre transmitter cover, you can easily change the battery when needed and they have incorporated an dual colour LED battery strength indicator so that you can see at a glance when the battery needs changing. 

The 12 volt receiver relay module has upgraded internal components to handle the stresses of MotorSport and a single terminal connection block to ensure a quality connection. Each of the receiver relays are individually ‘MODE’ switchable, meaning that you can select each relay / button to perform a dedicated action. You can select between Momentary Action, Latching Action and even Flashing Action for each relay independently. The system is offered in both a Standard 8 Button arrangement or an IVA Compatible version with printed buttons.
